Hello!
My name is Esadecimale “Hex” Adams and I’m a Level and Game Designer living in Seattle. Currently I’m working at Pipeworks Studios circa September 2025, and formerly I was at Bend Studio.
For a long time, I’ve been enamored by the inherent wonder of the constructed and natural world all around us. This fascination has served me well as a Level and Game Designer, as I’ve been able to work with my colleagues to create delightfully fun gameplay spaces and sequences!

An action-focused, combat encounter gameplay sequence for Half-Life: Alyx anchored around the player experiencing varying degrees of difficulty and agency over their situation resulting from their own actions' knock-on effects.

A first-person exploration game where the player operates a drone delving underwater into ancient abyssal caverns for a large mega-corporation. As the player dives deeper, they uncover much more than what was initially implied.
